Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment where children can thrive academically and personally. Through our after-school programs and support for local schools, we strive to make a lasting impact on their lives.

Honduras Children’s Project envisions a future where every child at COPPROME Orphanage has access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed. Our goals include expanding our educational programs, increasing access to higher education, and fostering an environment where children can dream big and achieve their aspirations. We are committed to empowering these young minds to become leaders and change-makers in their communities.

Our Journey Through the Years
Since its inception, the Honduras Children’s Project has grown and evolved, marking several significant milestones that have shaped our path and impact.
2011
Foundation of Honduras Children's Project
The organization was founded with the vision of providing educational support to the children of Copprome Orphanage.
2011
Launch of After-School Program
We initiated our after-school program, offering tutoring and extracurricular activities to enhance learning.
2015
Expansion of Educational Support
Expanded our support to include sponsorships for higher education and vocational training for teenagers.
2020
Infrastructure Improvements
Invested in school infrastructure by purchasing essential supplies and equipment for Dr. Jose Angel Zuniga Huete School.
2025
Graduations
Many of the children we first met in 2005 have graduated from high school and trade schools. They continue on at universities and in jobs suited to their knowledge.
